Overview

As of firmware 5.7, the Algo 8450 IP Console can display Singlewire InformaCast text notifications directly on its touchscreen. Operators can view message details and response instructions from the same interface they use to manage paging and alerts. The firmware release also expands DialCast support on the 8450.

Displaying InformaCast Notifications on the Algo IP Console

The 8450 is a SIP-compliant, PoE-powered console that connects directly to the IP network. Its configurable 10.1-inch touchscreen allows operators to initiate live or prerecorded pages, send alerts, and control paging zones.

Singlewire InformaCast is a mass notification platform that integrates with compatible Algo devices to deliver audio, text, and visual notifications across connected systems.

As a Singlewire Solutions Partner, Algo offers devices certified for use with InformaCast, allowing organizations to deploy voice paging and alerting within their existing InformaCast environment.

Please note, a valid InformaCast license is required to receive and display InformaCast text notifications on the Algo 8450. 8450-IC InformaCast IP Console is available with the required InformaCast license included.
