Connect Existing Paging Systems to IP Communications
Algo IP Paging Adapters allow organizations to retain analog amplifiers, speakers, and other paging equipment while adding SIP, multicast, and UC connectivity.
Depending on the model, an Algo IP paging adapter can provide line-level audio, emulate an analog telephone interface, control existing paging zones, schedule announcements, connect supported radio systems, or initiate actions through relay and sensor inputs.
This allows IT teams to modernize paging systems without replacing functional infrastructure at the start of a project.

Support Analog, Hybrid, and IP Paging Environments
Algo paging adapters support several approaches to modernizing paging systems.
- Connect Existing Analog Paging: Add SIP and UC connectivity while retaining existing amplifiers, speakers, zones, and wiring. Explore the difference between IP vs analog paging systems →
- Create a Hybrid Paging System: Replace aging analog equipment as required while continuing to use the adapter for scheduling, multicast distribution, or system integration. Learn more about hybrid paging systems →
- Transition to a Full IP Environment: Replace legacy analog equipment with IP endpoints and use the paging adapter to support multicast distribution, scheduling, or integration with other communication systems. Deploy Algo IP Paging Adapters in Full IP Environments →
Distribute Paging with Multicast
Multicast allows one paging source to send audio to multiple endpoints or zones across the network. A paging adapter can receive a SIP call and transmit the audio to compatible multicast receivers, including IP speakers, visual devices, displays, and other paging adapters.
This configuration can reduce the number of required SIP registrations because only the sending device may need to register with the communication platform. Receiving endpoints can listen to their assigned multicast channels.
Administrators can organize endpoints by location, device type, or communication purpose and configure them through the network.
Support Everyday Communication and Emergency Response
Depending on the selected model and system configuration, Algo IP Paging Adapters can support:
- Live voice paging
- Scheduled bells and tones
- Prerecorded announcements
- Background audio
- Operational notifications
- Emergency alerts
- Activation of visual devices
- Radio integration
- Button- or sensor-initiated workflows
Adapters can also connect compatible paging infrastructure with UC and notification platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Cisco, and Singlewire InformaCast.
MS Teams
Zoom
As Zoom-compatible devices, Algo IP Paging Adapters configure through Zoom One, Zoom’s integrated VoIP phone system, to deliver IP paging and audio solutions to traditional paging systems. Algo IP Paging Adapters deploy within Zoom’s cloud-based communication platform to bridge IP to analog systems.
RingCentral
Algo IP Paging Adapters function seamlessly in RingCentral’s cloud-based communication platform, broadcasting IP paging and audio alerts to legacy amplifiers and analog speakers. Organizations provision paging adapters as a paging device or DigitalLine on the RingCentral platform.
Cisco
Algo IP Paging Adapters integrate with Cisco’s communication and collaboration solutions to bridge IP systems to legacy environments. When deployed within Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) or Cisco Webex, Algo paging adapters can enable legacy amplifiers and analog speakers to broadcast audio paging, announcements, and emergency notifications.
8X8
Algo IP Speakers can be deployed within the 8×8 unified communication platform to deliver effective audio paging, announcements, and notifications. While audio is playing over the IP speakers, it can simultaneously be broadcast over 8×8 telephones. Algo speakers can integrate into 8×8 via SIP or via multicast.
GoTo
Algo IP Speakers are used in conjunction with GoTo to provide clear audio output during paging and alerting and can be registered into the GoToConnect platform. Any GoTo telephone supporting RTP multicast will permit audio from voice paging, notification, alerting, and scheduled announcements to be simultaneously broadcast over Algo PoE Speakers and GoTo telephones.
More Partners
Algo IP Paging Adapters can seamlessly integrate with a wide range of systems and collaboration platforms, effectively delivering IP solutions to analog environments. Organizations can deploy Algo paging adapters to upgrade their communication environment to IP systems with a collaboration partner of choice.

Professional Project Planning Services
Planning an IP paging system requires an understanding of the existing amplifier, speaker wiring, paging zones, network infrastructure, endpoint coverage, and ambient noise conditions.
Algo’s project planning services can review floor plans and existing equipment, identify required materials, and recommend endpoint locations and system configurations for analog modernization, hybrid paging, or new IP deployments.

Customize Your IP Paging Adapter Setup with Accessories
Algo paging adapters can connect with compatible buttons, cabling, and other accessories to support specific installation and communication requirements. For example, a connected button can initiate a page, play a prerecorded alert, or activate a configured communication workflow. Appropriate cabling and mounting accessories can simplify installation and connection to existing equipment.
