Zoom Phone Compatible Devices

Algo has a wide range of IP endpoints that are certified to operate within Zoom. Algo’s Zoom phone compatible devices offer seamless connectivity and functionality to the Zoom network. Deploying Algo allows organizations to easily build intuitive communication systems with a variety of IP devices to establish a cohesive communication system. Algo devices function harmoniously together and provide an easy means to customize environments. 

Please note the latest tested firmware for Zoom-compatible devices is v5.5, which is recommended for access to all features. (The minimum required version is v3.2.3; however, G1 devices are not Zoom-compatible and are no longer sold).

IP Speakers

Algo IP Speakers deliver high-performance audio output that easily extends the reach of communication throughout Zoom. Able to be installed in both indoor and outdoor locations, Algo speakers are an ideal solution for school and hospital deployments. Algo speakers are wideband and multicast-capable, offering a host of features to enhance voice paging, emergency alerting, loud ringing, announcements, and background music. Additional features include ambient noise detection, secure SIP, and two-way talkback. All Algo IP Speakers can be installed as Zoom devices to make IP paging powerful and simple.  

IP Paging Adapters   

Algo IP Paging Adapters seamlessly bridge Zoom IP systems to legacy paging infrastructure. Algo paging adapters emulate a page port, like what is found on a legacy PBX or key system, enabling a connection to traditional amplifiers. This direct connection between an Algo paging adapter and traditional analog amplifier creating a simple and easy interface to a Zoom system, allowing the paging adapter to operate as a SIP extension and multicast endpoint. 

With a build-in scheduler, paging adapters enable Zoom environments to automate WAV file tones, school bells, shift changes, and pre-recorded day-to-day updates and announcements. 

IP Displays     

Algo IP Displays bring an enhanced visual element to Zoom communication systems by offering visual communication in various formats.  

Often deployed in education, Algo IP Display Speakers bring the combined functionality of an LCD display screen, wideband-capable speakers, and extremely bright LED flashers to a classroom or hallway, offering a highly noticeable solution that addresses both audible and visual alerting in schools. The LCD screen displays informational content as a pop-up message, scrolling text, or graphic image. As information plays on the screen, audible notifications can play in conjunction through the speakers. 

IP Visual Alerters    

Algo IP Visual Alerters deliver highly notable visual alerting. Visual alerters deliver telephone ring detection in Zoom environments, acting as safety awareness, security, and emergency notification devices in noisy environments. Equipped with high-intensity, long-life LEDs, Algo’s strobe lights easily capture the attention of audiences and complement a Zoom voice paging and emergency notification system. Able to be mounted on a wall or ceiling, Algo IP Visual Alerters can be configured to produce multiple flash patterns, from steady-state to flashing. The shape of the device allows the bright LEDs to be visible from any direction as well as reflect off a ceiling or wall. Algo provides single-color and multi-color solutions, enabling users to fully customize their environment. 

IP Intercoms     

Algo IP Intercoms provide secure door entry control and hands-free visitor communication for schools and hospitals. As Zoom devices, Algo intercoms provide organizations with door unlock control, activated by a telephone key press from a Zoom-compatible calling or answering device. Intercoms provide building or environment access; however, as Zoom devices, intercoms also enforce secure entry restrictions for labs, offices, and other indoor locations.
