8450 IP Console Language Translation Packs

Starting with the 5.6 firmware release, the Algo 8450 IP Console supports language translation packs to make the user-facing experience accessible in different languages. These packs replace all text that appears to end users in the console (menus, prompts, labels) with a translated version, making it easier to deploy the console in international and non-English speaking environments.

Note: Translation packs do not change the administrative web user interface (Web UI) used for setup and configuration.

What the Packs Do

• Translation packs replace user-facing text with a localized version
• They are not designed to change the web user interface (UI) used for administration or configuration
• Current availability: French (CA) and Spanish language pack (additional languages will be added as they become available)

How the Feature Works

The translation feature is available under Additional Features → Translation in the Web UI.

• By default, you can manually edit each English text field and replace it with another language of your choice.
• Installing a Language Translation Pack will automatically replace all values on this page with pre-written translations for the selected language.
• After applying a pack, the values remain fully customizable — you can adjust individual words or phrases to match local terminology or preferences.

Available Translation Packs

Currently, we offer a French (CA) and Spanish Language Pack for the 8450 IP Console.

Download Language Packs:

• Algo 8450 French (CA) Language Pack
• Algo 8450 Spanish Language Pack

To install:

• Download the language config ZIP files using the link above.
• Unzip the downloaded ZIP file and locate the .conf file.
• Log in to the 8450 Console Web UI.
• Navigate to System –> File Manager.
• Select the Translations folder and upload the .conf file.
• Navigate to Additional Features → Translation.
• Under Apply Translation Pack select the pack from the dropdown and click Load. 
• Click Save to Apply changes — all user-facing text will update to French (CA) or Spanish automatically.
• To remove a translation click Clear under Clear Translations to restore the original language defaults.

French (CA) and Spanish Language Pack are available currently. More languages will be added to this page as they become available.
