The Algo 1199 Satellite Surface Mount Speaker is designed to work in combination with the 8199 IP PoE+ Surface Mount Speaker to expand audio coverage in IP paging and alerting applications. It is a cost-effective solution for larger deployments where additional network drops and licensing are not practical.

Up to three 1199 Satellite Speakers can be connected to a single 8199 speaker using standard CAT5/CAT6 Ethernet patch cables in a daisy chain configuration. The 8199 automatically detects and monitors each connected satellite speaker, with status visible in both the 8199’s web interface and the Algo 8300 Supervision Controller, if deployed.

The 1199 Satellite Speaker is identical in appearance and acoustical performance to the 8199. It delivers synchronized wideband audio and automatically adopts the zone and volume settings of the host speaker. It also supports ambient noise response via the 8199’s integrated microphone.

By extending audio coverage without additional cabling or IP licenses, the 1199 enables scalable and cost-efficient IP paging, emergency alerting, and communication in schools, healthcare facilities, offices, and other commercial environments.
