Download & Upload Instructions for Algo 8450 Starter Pack

The Algo 8450 Starter Pack offers integrators and customers:

• A full demo showcasing the capabilities of the Algo 8450.
• Working API payloads that can be copy/pasted to quickly build API-driven functions.
• Four Vertical Theme Demos highlighting the visual customization options that can be achieved.
• Previews of upcoming features scheduled for release in firmware v5.7.
• A zip file located in the top-level of directory of the file manager containing common emergency screens optimized for display on 8410 and 8420 devices.

To apply all features included in the Algo Starter Pack, make sure your 8450 is upgraded to the newest firmware version before installing the configuration.

NOTE: The Algo 8450 Starter Pack requires Firmware 5.6 Beta for all features to work as intended. Some features may not function correctly until you have configured your SIP and multicast settings. API driven button examples require changing the target value to a valid IP to function as expected.

Download Algo 8450 5.6 Beta Firmware

To upgrade the 8450 to the newest firmware:

• Go to System → Firmware
• Under Custom Upgrade → Signed Firmware File, click Browse
• Click Upgrade
• The upgrade will install and the device will reboot

To install the Algo 8450 Starter Config Pack:

• Go to System → Maintenance
• Under Backup / Restore all User Files, select Restore from Backup Zip File and click Browse
• Select the file from your computer and click Open
• Click Restore
• The config will be loaded and the device will reboot
