Algo's ECR Call Recording System a Perfect Match for Nortel Telecom System Specialists

Steven Stemkowski, President of Advanced Voice and IP Technology Solutions (AVIP, Inc.) is a networking and telecommunications company in Deer Park, New York that specializes in business phone systems, computer networks, and cabling - including fiber optics. According to Stemkowski, Algo's expertise and focus on Nortel-compatible products has been a perfect fit with their business. “Having products that were made for Nortel systems, like Algo offers, exactly matches what we do. Before, there just weren’t many options to choose from.”

A growing part of AVIP’s business is Nortel call recording for applications such as financial trading. In the past, AVIP distributed two other types of call recording systems. One was a generic four and eight-port system that recorded from the line level. “It worked - but it was hard to search and the functionality was really limited”, says Stemkowski. AVIP also represented a more complex call recording system but it was “out of the ballpark” on price and not really suited for the small and mid-size businesses that AVIP was targeting.

"The Algo rack-mount shelf system (ECR) is very scaleable. You buy a cabinet, install the shelf, stick in five cards, ten cards, whatever the customer needs. We can do three or four phones - or we can do the whole office.”
