Nortel-Compatible Push-to-Talk Handsets from Algo

Algo's 1071, 1074, 1079, and 1097 series Push-to-Talk (PTT) handsets are a high-quality, fully-compatible handset replacement solution for Nortel digital, IP, and Meridian Digital Centrex telephones. Built from original Nortel handsets, Algo PTT handsets provide a reliable and easy-to-use solution for applications where it is important to prevent background noise and conversations from being heard at the far end of a telephone call (in between speaking).

Featuring an ergonomically designed soft-touch button, Algo PTT handsets operate by allowing normal transmission of voice and background sounds to a remote party only when the Talk button is pressed. When the button is released (Normal mode), the handset microphone is disabled, securely muting the transmission of speech and background sounds while still allowing the remote party to be heard.
