What's New in Version 2.3

Version 2.3 of Client Call Recorder adds Windows 7 compatibility. In addition, the new version includes a number of minor improvements and bug fixes.

Previous Version 2.2 Update Summary (from 2.1.0)

Version 2.2 of Client Call Recorder brought many improvements and enhancements over the previous Version 2.1.0, particularly in regards to ease of use, functionality, and reliability.

Vista Compatibility

 Client Call Recorder is now compatible with the Windows Vista operating system.

The program continues to maintain compatibility with Windows XP and Windows 2000, however support for Windows 98 has now been discontinued.

New Graphical Interface Design

We've redesigned all of the software icons for improved intuitiveness and ease of use.

Call List View Column Configuration

A new pop-out context menu has been added where you can select which columns of data you want to display in the Call List view.

To use the menu, simply right-click on the column headings, then check or uncheck the columns you want to have displayed.

Redesigned Call Finder View

Included is a simple-to-use pop-out calendar for faster selection of Call Finder date ranges.

In addition, this view now highlights current search criteria in color, making the process of setting criteria and finding call records easier.

 

Redesigned Statistics View

This view now includes a graphical pie chart for viewing statistics on the type of calls over a defined time period. In addition, a pop-out calendar has been added to make selection of date ranges easier.

Multi-Lingual Interface

You can now set Client Call Recorder's interface to either French or English mode.

Redesigned Options Window

This window allows easier access to all configuration options such as Call List, Hot Keys, Email settings and more.

Save-Activated Relay Mode

This new mode allows for external visual confirmation (with an optional alerter) that a call is being recorded and that it will be saved upon completion.

System Tray Balloon

A set of new system tray balloons has been added to provide convenient visual confirmation that a completed call has been saved.

In addition, the balloons indicate when the phone is ringing.

Updated Documentation

Documentation has been added for both English and French language users. In addition, the documentation now also includes complete information on all the recording hardware (AuxBoxes) that Client Call Recorder is compatible with.

Bug Fixes and Error Reporting Improvements

Based on user feedback and extensive testing, this new version adds numerous minor bug fixes. In addition, the program includes improvements in error reporting that will allow easier troubleshooting in the event problems do occur in the future.
