Typical Connection to Analog Trunk

In the above Analog Trunk example, here are some application scenarios:
- After configuring a specific analog trunk (via the telephone server) with its own route and access code, a 4105 AuxBox is tied to the trunk.
- To record any calls to a specific number (9-1-1 is a perfect example) a call routing setup is configured that directs all calls to that number over the specific trunk the 4105 is attached to. This allows all of these calls - from multiple telephones throughout a facility - to be recorded by just a single 4105 AuxBox recorder.
- Another variation is when a request is made from a user (who has no call recorder of his own) to record a call. Because an access code has been set up for the trunk, the user simply has to dial that access code, place the call, and even conference in other people. When the call is completed, the system administrator can simply e-mail the call record to the user.
