IP Based Loud Ringing, Audio Notification, & Voice Paging
The 8180 SIP Audio Alerter is a SIP compliant PoE audio device optimized for alerting and voice applications. Equipped with an integrated amplifier, high quality speaker, and internal memory, the 8180 combines SIP connectivity with exceptional loud ringing, voice announcement, and event notification capabilities.
Loud Ringer tones are selectable. Users may also record or upload their own tones or voice announcements to the internal memory which is capable of storing four minutes of 16 kHz sampled audio. Alerts can be activated by a telephone ring message or other events depending on configuration and server capability. Output dry contacts may be used to activate visual alerting devices.
For paging, the 8180 can play multicast announcements or be configured as an auto-answer and page SIP telephone using its internal speaker. The internal amplifier may also be connected to an external ceiling speaker or outdoor weatherproof horn speaker. An optional adapter is available for driving a slave amplifier. Configuration is possible using the feature buttons or web interface capable of managing multiple SIP Audio Alerters.
